Here are some more glamorous movie stars from the Silent Film Era and Golden Age of Hollywood and their fabulous vanities, dressing tables, and mirrors getting ready for their close up! I found more photos than I ever expected to discover!
I hope the pictures inspire you to create your own glamorous vanity vignettes. Claudia at The Paris Apartment has asked bloggers to send photos of their modern vanity for the Vanity for Humanity book that she is creating for the Habitat for Humanity charity. She is still collecting photos, so send yours to her at theparisapartment@yahoo.com and post them on your blog too.
Thank you to all the bloggers that created such amazing vanity settings! Click here to see the Vanity for Humanity posts on Claudia's blog so far. (Several posts are all grouped together in the link.) It's for a wonderful cause that will help so many others in need and brighten their day.

Hi Bonnie!
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Your comment was so nice :)
I'm located in Baltimore, MD. So unfortunately I won't be able to get the vanity you found. But it was absolutely PERFECT! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for finding it for me. :)
You have a wonderful blog, and I love reading it.
Great article! You posted some great photos, Hollywoodmegastore.com has some great "old Hollywood" props and photos too!
Wow! Fantastic job! The pics are stunning.
I love your photo choices..makes me happy to be a girl..plus your music is just lovely!! thanks for the wonderful vist xoo
I LOVE LOVE LOVE (and LOVE) this post. I'm sure gathering up all of those photos took a long time, but let me tell you, I appreciate it. If you don't mind, I'd like to do a feature (referral) on mylittleboudoir.com. Would that be ok? It's such a nice fit.
Can somebody please tell me who is the person that singing these songs on here? I love her voice.
Hello,
Nice blog i like it
Any good party will need a good spread and whether you choose to have a sit down meal or perhaps something a little more informal, the Hollywood set of napkins and plates will make for some great additions to your Hollywood party themed evening. Of course if it was a real Hollywood party, the chances of anyone actually eating anything for fear of putting on any weight is rather low, but wave a few nibbles on a Hollywood Plastic party platter and you can be confident that at least your guests will be going home with a bit of food inside them.
thank you so much for the wonderful shots. it has helped tremendously in my research for a novel i am writing. you have helped me to visualize my character's surroundings.

Other names for the clapperboard include clapper, clapboard, slate, slate board, sync slate, time slate, sticks, board, and marker.
Vintage Doll night lamp with molded plastic dress from 50's or 60's. Does anyone remember these?
Who thinks we should blow up Hollywood and just create a decentralised movie industry?
I hope the pictures inspire you to create your own glamorous vanity vignettes they Hollywood Plastic party platter and you can be confident that at least your guests will be going home with a bit of food inside them.
