Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all the Mom's a very Happy Mother's Day.
May your day be filled with flowers, warm smiles and happy memories!

It just started to rain outside as I write this in the middle of the night. It's as if God hears my tears even in LA where it's usually sunny and bright. It's hard for me to write a post about Mother's Day cuz my Mom is in heaven. It wasn't suppose to be like this. I miss her so much it's nearly too hard to bear. Still, if I could pick any mother in the world,
I would have picked her. She was the best Mom ever.
I love you Mom!

Peaceful Japanese Gardens

With Japan on my mind, I wound up searching for everything Japanese from interior design, furniture, graphics, landscaping and more. I came across some lovely (real) gardens will perhaps post a few pics next time. I liked the graphics of these two pictures which are actually paint-by-number paintings. Remember those? I loved painting them as a child... I hope the pretty gardens bring thoughts of calm for Japan and the other places affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Perhaps the pictures will inspire you to paint a pretty picture or plant some pretty flowers in a garden too.

The wintery cold feeling of silver and gray
can be warmed up with rose and burgundy

Golden Dandelion Dreams

May your dandelion wishes

turn into beautiful dreams

sprinkled with a sweet scent

dazzle with elegant sparkles

light the way and come true

and take you everywhere you want to go.

I hope your week is wonderful!
Stay warm too... it's getting cold here.
